INTERVENTION STRATEGIES IN AREAS OF SOCIAL INTEREST

RESIDUAL SPACES IN COMPLEXO DO ALEMÃO

The event brings together professors and researchers (both international and national) to exchange ideas in an Academic Seminar, and students from 3 schools of architecture and urbanism for the Workshop, inviting them to the analysis of a case of high complexity and recent conformation: the chairlift implemented in Complexo do Alemão.

After the 2-day seminar, students, guided by professors and researchers, will formulate proposals for urban intervention in that context, working in heterogeneous groups over a defined territory, specifically those urban voids generated by the deployment of the cable car.

This is an instance of study, reflection and design, where different views can contribute new approaches to the study of the city and appreciation of their forms of occupation.
